2. The major tributaries of the Wildcat are the Little Wildcat Creek and the Kokomo Creek. This creek would be known as a river in most areas of the United States due to its width.

Who we are

What we do

Still Water on the Wildcat is a place where men can go in order to heal their mind and body, as well as restore themselves spiritually. We don’t consider ourselves a traditional halfway house because we believe that there are additional steps in the process of getting sober.

Wildcat is a 30-bed sober living that provides a nurturing and restorative atmosphere, fostering an opportunity for individuals to initiate their path to recovery and attain enduring wellness. Our scientifically backed programs, coupled with a comprehensive approach, enable our clients to reconnect with their authentic selves and embrace lives filled with purpose and satisfaction.

We create an environment where you can change your life, what you think about yourself, and how others see you. By creating an individualized treatment plan based on individual strengths, a psychological change can help someone achieve permanent recovery from addiction. This includes goals for each area of improvement and relapse prevention skills if necessary.

Our Core Principles

Community

In early recovery, we not only learn how to live our lives free of alcohol and drugs, but we learn how to become productive members of society. It is difficult for many of us to be successful in solitude. Being a part of a recovery community, something bigger than ourselves. It helps to give us a sense of purpose and inclusion. With the support of others, we are better able to cope with the challenges of recovery.

Culture

Alcoholism and drug addiction are often part of a larger culture. We often find it challenging to stay clean and sober while continuing to be a part of our ‘old lifestyle.’ At Wildcat Recovery, we work hard to build a positive culture of recovery where individuals help to support each other. We also value teaching critical life skills while having fun without drugs or alcohol.

Communication

An effective program is often only as good as the communication between those involved. Our staff works hard to ensure open communication with those in our program. Many often find themselves dealing with a multitude of issues early in the recovery process. We create an environment where individuals can speak openly and honestly about their struggles.
